Despotism 3k immerses players in a dystopian world where an AI rules over enslaved humanity. As a tyrant, you must exploit these humans to build your empire while managing their exhaustion and hunger. This indie resource management sim features rogue-lite elements, dark humor, and unique pop culture references. Gameplay revolves around strategizing the movement of humans between facilities to produce energy and reproduce. With no save options, every playthrough offers randomized events that can alter your success dramatically. The second campaign introduces a “raid” mechanic, allowing players to explore and gather resources in a procedurally generated environment.
