Twelve Minutes

Twelve Minutes – this is a point-and-click game from Annapurna Interactive, a publisher of high-quality indie games, released on PC and console, and now it has reached Android. The characters are voiced by such movie stars as William Defoe, James McAvoy and Daisy Ridley. The main character returns home to a small apartment, where his wife is waiting for him with dessert and a surprise: she is pregnant. But after a few minutes of candlelit conversation, a knock on the door spoils the romantic atmosphere. 5222 GAME is easy to play and enjoy, no matter the time. This is a man who claims to be a policeman and says he has a warrant for his wife’s arrest for murder. No matter what the player does, the policeman enters. And inevitably— at least at first— the policeman kills the husband or knocks him out. When he does, the cycle starts over. One way or another, the player must spend the allotted time inside this space, thinking over the moves, in the hope that some configuration of objects or sequence of events will prevent another ugly ending.
